How to Program Classic Wascomat Coin Drop
 
ELS Coin-meter with display, Generation 6 –series, Classic
 
Installation:
The 6-pole connector from coin-meter should be connected to the Timer terminal X21 (wires toward rotary switch).

It should be "plug and play"
When you apply voltage it will take a few seconds and the display will lit up and show "remaining coins to start".
It is initiated with a preset value that is set in the service program (default from factory 5 coins).
 
Normal operation:
When fitting coins, the display will count down to "00" and machine will start.
When started the coin-meter will indicate "- -" to show that machine is in operation.
When wash program is ended, coin-meter will return to preset value ex "05" coins and be ready for a new start.
 
Start when door opened:
When inserting coins, the display will count down to "00" and attempt to start machine.
After 3 seconds coin-meter indicates "od" for open door.
When door is closed machine will start normally as described above.
 
Some additional information:
Coins fitted when in "od" or "- -" mode, will be counted in total counter but not remembered to next wash.
Coin-meter will remember coins that is fitted when/if power fails.
 
Service mode:
The encoder switch is used to enter and navigate in service mode only.
The encoder/all configuration is accessible by removing the coin-box, either by using your hand or by an
extension such as a screwdriver or similar. (see pictures below).
By pressing the encoder during >3 sec, you will enter service mode - "SE".

By turning clockwise , you will have 5 menu's available.

P1 - Number of coins
P6 - Total counter for coins MS (Most significant i.e. 99xxxx)
P7 - Total counter for coins (Middle significant i.e. xx99xx)
P8 - Total counter for coins LS (Least significant i.e. xxxx99)
ES- Exit service

P1 - Number of coins.
Preset value for price, i.e. number of coins to start a wash.
Select P1. Press encounter once.
Now actual setting will turn up (value between 01-99).
Turn encoder (clockwise or anticlockwise) to select the preferred price.
Press encounter once to set price.
P6 - Total counter for coins MS (Most significant i.e. 99xxxx)
Select P6. Press encounter once.
Most significant value will now be displayed.
Press encounter once to Exit.
P7 - Total counter for coins (Middle significant i.e. xx99xx)
Select P7. Press encounter once.
Least significant value will now be displayed.
Press encounter once to Exit.
P8 - Total counter for coins LS (Least significant i.e. xxxx99)
Select P8. Press encounter once.
Least significant value will now be displayed.
Press encounter once to Exit.
 
ES- Exit service
Select ES. Press encounter once.
You are now back in Normal operation mode again.
Total counter will count to 999999 and then start over on 000000 again.
 
NOTE!
If not operating encoder/service program during 15 seconds, coinmeter will return to normal operation
without saving changes. To save changes it is required to quit via ES (Exit service)
